After multiple relocations, Single Origin Espresso Roast finally settled in Wuxing Street, Xinyi District, Taipei, in 2020. Tucked away in a hidden corner of the city, it carries a touch of mystery.
Aries, traditionally released in matte black, introduced a limited-edition pearl white version last October, perfectly complementing the all-white aesthetic of Single Origin espresso & roast.
Renowned for its specialty coffee, Single Origin espresso & roast offers a wide selection of single-origin coffee beans and espressos. The unique conical burr of Aries provides a smoother and more balanced flavor, allowing owner A-Ji to fully showcase his craft in iced pour-over and flannel drip brewing. With a vast selection of beans available, the quick-release design of Aries also ensures that A-Ji can maintain impeccable cleanliness with ease.

The owner of Single Origin espresso & roast, A-Ji, stepped into the world of coffee at the age of 17, starting as an apprentice and working his way through several well-known coffee brands in Taiwan, such as KOMKAN Coffee and CAMA. Throughout his journey, his passion for and dedication to coffee have never wavered.
Before opening Single Origin espresso & roast, A-Ji visited a respected mentor, who served him a natural-processed Ethiopian espresso. At that moment, he realized that espresso could be presented in a specialty coffee style—something he had never imagined before. This experience shaped the vision for his future coffee shop.
At Single Origin espresso & roast, all coffee beans are roasted in-house and undergo a low-temperature maturation process, allowing the beans to rest for a few days after roasting to achieve a more balanced and stable flavor. The shop specializes in Single Origin Espresso (S.O.E.), aiming to let people experience the distinctive flavors of different coffee origins through a single shot of espresso.

以往Aries都以消光黑色出版,去年10月推出了限量版珍珠白色,很適合放在Single Origin espresso & roast這全白的店裡。
以精品咖啡聞名的Single Origin espresso & roast 提供多樣的單品咖啡豆和單一產區濃縮咖啡,Aries的錐刀獨特性,風味上較舒服、均衡,剛好讓主理人阿吉發揮在冰手沖、法蘭絨上,在豆子選擇眾多的店裡,快拆的設計也讓阿吉在清潔方面可以做到非常全面。

Single Origin Espresso Roast的主理人阿吉,從17歲開始便踏入咖啡世界,從學徒做起,歷經台灣多家知名咖啡品牌,如真鍋咖啡、CAMA等。一路走來,他對咖啡的熱愛與研究從未停歇。
在Single Origin espresso & roast開店前阿吉拜訪了一位前輩,當時前輩給他喝了一杯衣索比亞日曬的濃縮,那時他從來沒有想過濃縮咖啡可以用精品的方式呈現,這成了阿吉未來開店的走向。
這裡的咖啡豆都是自家烘焙,使用「低溫熟成」技術,讓豆子在烘焙後靜置數天,使風味更加平衡、穩定。專注於單一產區濃縮咖啡(Single Origin Espresso, S.O.E),也希望讓人透過一杯濃縮咖啡,感受到不同產區的獨特風味。
